Xue-Li Willemsen

My photography journey began in 2017, when I discovered an Instagram account called Instagram @fetchingtigerss. Her surreal images inspired me with the way they told stories and invited viewers to think beyond the surface.

Inspired by this, I started experimenting with photography using my phone. Not long after, I bought my first camera and continued developing my skills and creative vision. Over the years, I have photographed many different subjects, but people have always interested me the most. Especially images that tell meaningful and authentic stories.

In 2022, I began studying photography at SintLucas in Eindhoven, and I graduated in 2025. After graduation, I travelled to different countries to further develop my perspective and experience. My goal is to become a documentary photographer, as this is the genre that resonates with me the most.
